what do you mean, ONLY a foot of snow?!

Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, SNOW!

We got about a foot here in the MD suburbs, but our neighbors dug out our car for us! I had today off anyway, but it's really nice just to have a snow day every now and then. Unfortunately, we were without power for most of yesterday, AND we have electric heat and an electric stove, so... we fired up the grill to make coffee! Our tanned-ass southerner upbringings (GA and TN, if you didn't know already) really showed themselves yesterday!

I've got the day off and I'm spending it catching up on balancing the checkbook and financial planning, as well as working on some church stuff that I've been putting off. I found out last week that a friend and fellow Elder is leaving the church because of conflict and behavior that have erupted recently and I'm sad on many levels.

On a lighter note, I went out to buy some new bras this weekend and was searching through a HUGE selection, just going by what looked like it might be my size (it would take too long to look at every single tag). I came across a few that looked about right and then saw the tag: TEEN SCENE BRAS. Nice.
